The third installment of Parent Power School focused on expanding our knowledge about community schools and was held at Trinity Church Staff Offices in downtown Manhattan. Over 70 parents attended our Parent Power School on July 26th! We covered such topics as:
- Understanding a parent’s role in community schools and how to build relationships of equal power between schools, families and community partners
- Public speaking: How to craft stories that will move people to act.
